2. RENTAL TERMS & DAMAGE LIABILITY POLICY
The following section governs rental conditions, customer liability, damage fees and replacement costs.
These terms apply to all rentals made with Like Bike.
2.1 General Responsibility
By renting a vehicle, the customer accepts full responsibility for:
- The vehicle
- All accessories
- Proper use and safe operation
The vehicle may not be sub-rented or used for commercial purposes.
2.2 Damage & Loss Liability
The customer is financially responsible for:
- Damage
- Breakage
- Theft
- Loss
- Negligent use
All damage charges and replacement costs are applied according to the official price list available at the time of rental.
Damage & Replacement Fees
The customer is responsible for any damage, loss or theft of the bicycle or accessories during the rental period.

In case of theft, the full replacement value must be paid unless insurance coverage applies.
2.4 Internal Insurance Option
Insurance cost:
- 3€ per standard bike per day
- 6€ per E-vehicle per day
Insurance provides:
- 50% coverage of repair costs
- 50% coverage of replacement value in case of theft
- Technical assistance within Valencia city
Insurance is valid only if:
- The official lock was properly used
- Theft is immediately reported
- There is visible evidence of forced lock damage
Insurance does not cover:
- Gross negligence
- Riding under influence of alcohol or drugs
- Intentional damage
- Loss without proper locking
2.5 Assistance
Technical assistance is available within the city.
If no insurance is selected, assistance fees apply.
2.6 Early Return
Like Bike does not provide refunds for early return of the vehicle.
2.7 Right to Update
Like Bike reserves the right to update these policies at any time.
The version published on the website at the time of rental shall apply.
2.8 Acceptance of Terms
By signing the rental contract or completing a booking online, the customer confirms having read, understood, and accepted this Privacy Policy & Rental Terms document.
